Terms of Service

By accessing or using the School EduPulse platform ("SchoolPulse", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

SchoolPulse is a school management platform that provides tools including, but not limited to: automated timetable generation, result processing, student performance analytics, teacher tools, and parent communication features.

The Service is intended for use by accredited educational institutions, school administrators, teachers, parents, and students. By using the Service, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or using the Service under the supervision of a school administrator.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You are not prohibited by law from accessing the Service.

To use SchoolPulse, your school must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree not to use SchoolPulse to:

• Upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
• Violate the privacy or rights of students, teachers, or third parties.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.
• Use the Service for commercial purposes outside the scope of your subscription.

SchoolPulse offers subscription-based pricing plans. By subscribing:

• You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

You retain full ownership of all data you upload to SchoolPulse, including student records and academic data. By using the Service, you grant SchoolPulse a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

All intellectual property in the SchoolPulse platform — including software, design, trademarks, and content created by us — is owned by School EduPulse. Nothing in these Terms transfers any IP rights to you. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without written permission.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SchoolPulse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will be revoked.
• We will provide you with an export of your data upon request within 30 days.
• Your data will be deleted from our systems within 90 days.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
